Clarinetist David Krakauer and the Arditti string quartet will perform a
new musical score by Israeli composer Betty Olivero at a screening of
the silent film "Der Golem" at Lincoln Center (Feb. 19 and 20). The
performance is part of the the Chamber Music and Film Societies of
Lincoln Center.

I have no information about publisher, length, or content but I suspect
that it has considerable klezmer elements considering the topic and the
soloist who is such a distinguished klezmer player (as well as a
distinguished non klezmer performer, too). "The Golem" is a story about
the 18th century creation in Prague of a clay creature with supernatural
powers.

I have no further information that would enable an interested play to
find out more about this matter. But surely, someone in NY will hear
about the performance and tell us. Or an interested party might try and
find out who is Krakauer's agent and then call that person to ask if the
work is published.
