A friend gave me some Classico 4's he could not use because they were too
hard for him (his regular reed is a Vandoren Hand Select 2). I tried them
on the O'Brien OB* I have been using with some ancient Symetricut 4's with
good results, but find Mitchell Lurie 4's too soft for. The Zondas seem
very heavy on it, but can probably be worked down well. They seem to be
quite thick right down to the tip. On another mouthpiece, I was quite
impressed with the original Zonda 3's I tried, but I do not have a good
supply source, so Mitchell Lurie 3's and Vandoren 2 1/2's have been doing
fine instead.

If you have to mic a saxophone, the rest of the band is too loud.
