hmmmm...

A similar question has come up for my teacher as she is playing the
Copland Concerto in March. What happens if her C# starts to gurgle?
She is not yet sure what to do. I suggested having someone walk
on-stage, take her clarinet offstage and swab it, and return in second.
No one would have a clue. :) There has to be an answer for those on
the list who solo regularly. What does one do? Oh yeah, and what if
you want to change REEDS for a certain movement? It seems silly to
sacrifice quality because you don't want to look "unprofessional" for
swabbing, etc. So what do you guys think?
