I currently actively play Albert system and Boehm clarinets in a dixieland band
here in New Orleans. I just recently picked up the Albert and find it to have a
fuller and darker tone than the Boehm clarinets, probably due to the larger
bore, hence it takes more air out of me to play it.

Despite what many people have told me Albert clarinets are not the nightmares
that I was told they were.. I am finding it somewhat fun remembering the
different fingerings.

Quite uncomfortable horns I might add.
