Okay, I've got a couple of dumb-beginner questions. I've been following this
thread, and trying to work on reducing tension in my fingers, but it seems
difficult. Especially in the Clarion register, it seems like I have to press
harder with my fingers, but that shouldn't be true, should it? I mean, if I
can play a low C with only so much force, then the Clarion G should play
with the same force. But it seems like I can't stop from pressing harder.
Also, it does seem that the Clarion register is easier to play if I give it
a lot of air. But then it plays pretty loud. Can the high notes be played
softly, or is it really necessary to blow more forcefully to get those
notes? It also highlights the fact that I need to get a little more
exercise. Wheeze.
