I just came back from a masterclass where Bob Spring talked about this very subject. His opinion:
The variance from Greenline to Greenline is less than that of R13 to R13.

Anecdote:
His studio students swore up and down that there was a difference between his regular R13 and his Greenline. He got tired of telling them that there wasn't an audible difference between them. Finally one day he told the class to turn around and tell him which one he was playing. The class could not tell the difference.
