While I find this appealing, and rather amusing (be certain, I'm gonna try
it in my lesson today!), I think this approach garners the same problems
that spurned the Eastman system of counting - you go nuts when you get
combined rhythms.

8/16/16 = hot-sippi?
Triplet 8/16/16 = hambursippi?
Dotted 8/16 = haaat-sippi???

I can see Dr. Van in winds tomorrow...
