Despite my silence on the matter, I have been working on the mouthpiece
FAQ for about a week now. It may never get done because the material is
so vast and trying to capture some meaningful piece of it and put it in
words is no simple task.

I have been saving the most meaningful messages on the subject and doing
some research outside of the message portion of Klarinet. There's a lot
of information there and it needs to be boiled down like a good French
sauce.

In the last 3 weeks, there were a whole bunch of messages on the matter
of cleaning mouthpieces. I need someone who is prepared to go through
those (as well as many that addressed the subject earlier than the last
3 weeks) and produce a piece of the proposed FAQ to deal with this
subject.

The FAQ will have a question: "How should I clean my mouthpiece?" and
there will then follow a summary of the best that has been posted on the
subject, and it cannot be an encyclopedia. It's a FAQ, not the
preparation of a CD-ROM. I need someone to devote their time to this
issue, because I am trying to handle a much bigger problem; i.e.,
organize and create the whole FAQ. There may also be other pieces that
I would ask be farmed out as well, but I'm not there yet.

I need someone who can write well but who does not mind their text being
edited. That person needs to be thorough, patient, inquisitive, and
dilligent.

I'd like some volunteer to contact me privately. If there are more than
two or three, I'll keep only a nucleus of people because I can't run an
army. Then, I'd ask that nucleus to work together and with me.

Maybe this will work. Maybe it won't. We'll see.
