I can't take credit for writing the comment attributed to my name. I =
had merely responded to a message by J. Shouryu Nohe and accidently =
deleted his name before I wrote the comment.
However, I assume he is referring to the most of the these exercises =
found in the Klose' Method. Most of them, though some have musical =
content, seem to be there to exercise the fingers so that you have =
greater facility on the instrument.=20
