But one that I didn't make, whatever your opinion of your
misrepresentation (using your <SNIP>) of what I wrote.
In fact, I don't agree at all that the statement you've constructed
above is profound.
It's quite possible that my friend might have found a clarinet that made
him play 30% better.
The point is, he wouldn't have found it *thinking the way he was
thinking*.
But he might have found it thinking about what he wanted to change in
his playing.
What I "didn't believe" was something else entirely.
