One of my UR students got the Sony MZ-55 for a Christmas present, and it
sounds pretty nice. Seems to work pretty well too.

Ben, at the risk of turning this into another of the ever recurring
topics such as M... B... - Is the Sony Pro Walkman you refer to the
analog one? There is a digital Sony Walkman size machine, which makes
nice tapes, but last I knew it was significantly more expensive than the
MiniDisc recorder. Is there a portable DAT machine you could recommend,
and how much would it cost (approx)?

Thanks

David
