Thanks to all you who commented. I now have some good questions to ask the
store owner. Tony mentioned the Imperial 926, I will certainly check for
the type or title (what do you call it, make?) of the clarinet and let you
all know what is up before I make any commitment. I am not sure how to go
about finding a professional clarinetist in my area. I live in a small
northwestern community of Washington state. I know an old band director
that now repairs instruments, I imagine that he could check the clarinet out
for condition at least. I have not seen this clarinet as of yet, someone
was trying it out. I guess I could inquire as to who it was that was trying
it out, that might tell me a great deal.
