Specious argument. Various plastics react in widely varying ways to organic
solvents of all sorts. Of course they would package your rubbing alcohol in
something resistant to it, like polyethylene or polypropylene. I know from
experience that 95% ethanol causes crazing (incipient cracking) in
polymethacrylate (Lucite or Perspex), which I think some mouthpieces are made
of. I don't know about 70% isopropanol (rubbing alcohol).
