However, it probably isn't meaningless to many of us who sort e-mail by date
(or sometimes by date and sometimes by other criteria). And with some mail
readers, it will cause your notes to be read long after replies to it. For
the benefit of your several hundred correspondents on Klarinet, as well as
anyone else with whom you exchange e-mail, I recommend that you take the
small time and expense to replace the battery.
