Bass sax also produces that effect. It can make thin sheet music rattle on
the stand (audibly, so it's not just an eyeball Jell-O thing). My bodhran
drum, hanging on the wall near where I practice, hums with a sympathetic
vibration on certain notes.
Interesting that so many clarinetists seem to be left-handed. I'm
neither-handed. That's different from ambidextrous. Ambidextrous people are
coordinated.
Somebody told me that neither-handed people are all looneytunes. Our brains
are scrambled or something. Oh, well.
