Hi all!

Thanks to Janet for posting (very fast after word was let out!) news of
the Sabine Meyer event we're hosting at the University of Toronto next
week. Very exciting. Just to stress a couple of things, admission is free,
I can't imagine there are many opportunities to see three hours of work by
such a player without fee very often. This will indeed be in Walter Hall,
the recital hall on the lower level of the Edward Johnson building, just
behind the Royal Ontario Museum and Planetarium. One nice feature of this
hall is that unobtrusive entrances and exits are possible at the back, so
auditors won't be "stuck" for all 3 hours if they choose not to (I'll be
there the whole time!). The 6 players will each have 1/2 an hour, so we
should run roughly on the 1/2 and hour marks if you want to plan a
convenient arrival time. Of course Sabine is playing with the Toronto
Symphony as soloist that week, so call the Tor.Symphony and look for a
ticket if you can.

Thanks to Dan for the tip about her English, I asked via the Symphony and
was assured yes she does speak Eng., but I think I'll have a backup plan
ready!!
