I'm familiar with the musical--it's based on a Wells short story called
"Kipps" and is the story of an orphan who comes into money (and love) and
then loses it. The movie is very long and has lots of musical numbers
of all kinds and styles--I've never played it, just seen it. It's one of
our family's favorites.
