Try to find the velcro that has the cloth on one side and the hooks on the
other. It is a bit easier to deal with. Make it a bit smaller than your
standard ligature. (You can accomplish this by adjusting it to the
mouthpiece with no reed on it) When you put the reed on it will take just a
bit of effort to slide the Velcro ligature on over it. This will help keep
it snug and allow for that little bit of give in the fabric.
