Walter,
There's currently a billet of cherry at work with my husband waiting to
become that very clarinet. I don't currently have access to all the cool
tools that he does so he volunteered to do the boring and turning, leaving
me with the fun job of drilling tone holes and tuning. Let me know if you
get started. BTW, it would be a great way to justify that little lathe
that you mentioned to put grooves in your mouthpiece....
