This is one of the more unusual things I noticed about living in Happy Va=
lley.
There are no true community bands. The few that exist are by invite only.=
Most
times, it is a lot less how well you play, than who you know.

I hope you are able to find a good teacher there. Don't discount some of =
the
students of the teachers around there either. There are a lot of fine cla=
rinet
players in that area.
