When I was in school, the band director asked me to play sax in the jazz
band because the saxophone players either couldn't or wouldn't. I just went
with a fingering chart and the music. As for the other questions, I really
don't remember as it was over 30 years ago. Today if I happen to pick up a
sax, it's the lowest three notes on the instrument.
