Within the last day or so (I deleted the list email and can't be bothered searching the archive)
someone mentioned tuning in online to Classic FM, the UK's national commercial Classical Music radio
station.

I just thought I'd confirm that it was Classic FM as their website contains a playlist day by day,
hour by hour (times are GMT/BST) which did indeed list the Thea King recording of the Mozart as
played by the station.(http://www.classicfm.com/)

Do many other "classical" radio stations in other parts of the world adopt the Classic FM stance and
play (normally) only a section/movement from a piece, or is it more common (as per the BBC's Radio
3) to play the entire pieces? Classics for the masses or classics for the connoisseur?

My preference depends on the music being played (but then whose wouldn't?)

Ian.
