Hi Dan,

I was a music ed. major in college with emphasis on clarinet. About my
junior year, I decided that it would be fun to learn the saxophone and flute.
My clarinet teacher was also the saxophone teacher. To make a long story
short, I received free saxophone lessons for playing in the saxophone
quartet. Remember, this was a small school. Anyway, that intrigued me
enough to want to go on to a master's degree in woodwind performance. The
hardest part of the saxophone, for me, was the low range and still is
sometimes!
