Ask me a HARD question.

Two clarinetists, actually. Reginald Kell (his recording of the Mozart
K.622 remains a marvel) and Anthony Gigliotti.

Speaking of Gigliotti--I actually wrote to SONY Classical some months
back and asked if there were/are/might be any plans to release on CD the
(I guess) legendary "First Chair" recordings the Philadelphia Orchestra
made back in the 1950s. The first of the set contained AMG's
spectacular performance of the Weber Concertino; it turned my brain to
grenadilla wood for years thereafter.

SONY never answered.

Does anyone out there know who is in charge of classical A&R at SONY? A
direct approach might be better than a generic "comments to SONY
Classical" note.
