And also to the New York person who thought lesson too costly:

Post a notice at a university music department. Students currently in
study can be great teachers because of being actively in the learning
learning process themselves. A student probably won't be so rigid with
scheduling and may possibly be open to barter . I know that it is
somewhat intimidating to go back to the role of student. I have an organ
teacher's card on the bulletin board and I will call her - yes I will.
