To all who gave information about the Symphonic Metamorphasis:

the planned person was at rehearsal. From the way he handled the music,
i would say he agreed with Neil that Hindemith is easier than Nutcracker.
The tempos were reasonable and he came close to keeping up even on
scherzo triplets, and i expect that he will be solid by Tuesday.

one the other hand, the tempo on 1st movement of Saint Saens was adjusted
beyond any of the bassoon or clarinet folks possible for duration of the
soli section. i couldn't keep up with double-tongue. ARGH!
Looking on the bright side, the mess won't last long. {8-*)

practicing and praying
