Hi,

I have a new LeBlanc Noblet 40. As I aquaint myself with it, I notice that
the low C and the second (a+register key) Bb are much fuzzier than the
surrounding notes. If I substitute the trill key for the register, the Bb
is much cleaner.

I assume this is probably the fault of the player, since I am re-learning
the instrument after a long break (my background is described in another
note). However, since the notes surrounding these come out much clearer, I
wonder if something needs adjustment.

I've also noticed that the bridge mechanism does not completely close the
pad in the left-hand section. That is, if I close the associated rings in
the right-hand joint, there is still a slight play in the associated ring
and pad in the left hand joint. I don't think this is my problem on the C
and Bb, since neither involves right hand fingerings.

Any thoughts!

Thanks!
