I agree, and I couldn't put my finger on precisely why I felt Dan's
approach was not the right one. I think Dee's list is a good one - people
who want more information can contact one of the makers on the list, or
post questions to the list and get what they need.

This whole thing reminds me of a joke -

Billy asked his Dad "Where do I come from?" Dad gave a long and detailed
discussion about the birds and the bees and human procreation. To which
Billy replied "Oh - Johnny says he's from Detroit, and I wanted to know
where I came from" (!!)

So Dan, as interesting as it might be, I don't think the FAQ needs a sex
ed lecture! We just need to know - are you from Detroit? ;-)
