Let me put a more positive spin on this. If you are buying a professional
model clarinet, you probably already have a mouthpiece you really like, and
you will be trying out clarinets using this mouthpiece.

You will also choose, without realizing it, that you will be picking a
clarinet that works well with THAT mouthpiece. Optimizing it, if you will.

Given that enormous advantage, what are the chances that you would set aside
your own mouthpiece and accept something totally new.....

Makes no sense to me.

The honest thing would be to include no mouthpiece at all, not a peice of
junk...
