I was fortunate enough to have studied with Pete for all of 6-8 weeks of my
Freshman year at Eastman. (I seem to remember he died in mid-late October)
As a part of his curriculum he gave us xerox copies of all this stuff. I
have been waiting for years for it to be published as it is a valuable
resource that must be shared. I have not made copies for other people in
respect to his estate, but everybody that has ever seen the collection has
gone crazy over it. It has great explanations and insight on the music.
His articles he wrote were also fantastic and informative. I just wish I
could have heard more from the horses mouth because in masterclass some very
amusing stories would accompany the excerpts.

For those of you who do not have a copy of this, run, don't walk to your
friendly music dealer and purchase a copy of this book. You won't be sorry.
