I've never experienced *that much* spread. Plus or minus 1/4 strength
perhaps (i.e.. a box of 3s running from 2.75 to 3.25) but not plus or minus
nearly 1/2. That would mean the difference strengths have a significant
overlap and that wouldn't make economic sense and its not practical for the
player.
