An alternative is go in the largest amplified guitar dealer in your community
and ask for any kind of stuff pertaining to clarinet and often as not they
have a box with loose mouthpieces (gawd awful George Bundys usually), caps
and ligatures. Go through this stuff for any treasures. Often a good, heavy
lig will show up amongst the junk. I don't know why they seem to have this
stuff around, maybe from the previous owner.
