Oh I like this - no more looking for that one peice of music that has
magically attached itself to the back of something else... Or even
better, that mystical moment when the conductor realizes she is
conducting something different than what the band is playing (I won't
tell you how long that went on to avoid embarrassing the director,
but the look on her face as she flipped back in forth in the score
was truely amazing!)

What - and lose those wonderful moments where the editors of the
sheet music have decreed that the clarinetist can turn the page in
the midst of 7 lines of sixteenth notes runs requiring both hands
to play and no rests (even in the two measures straddling the page
turn)? Heresy!

I think I hear our librarian panting at the thought that
her space requirements just dropped to room for a CD for each piece!

And just think- if you do it right, you can make it so the display is
adjustable for those individuals suffering from presbyopia (old age!
:-) who need to have their music stands in the next row up in order
to see the notes.
