Hi all....
The records I have found with Benny Goodman playing the Mozart are
amazing. I didn't say that his sound was rich because it is not , Very
thin sound but maybe this is the recording not the playing.... But he
does make those runs sound sooo easy. He emphasizes the runs differently
than I have ever heard before. As if he is improvising them. A very
different interpretation. And the slow movements he played as if "come
on I'm bored - lets get to the good stuff ". When He plays jazz he is
a constant ball of passion.

hmmmmmm. I.M.H.A.O.O.H.L.O
(in my humble and out of his league opinion)
Vivace.
