Welcome to the days when popular music was MUSIC! I've been hooked on the
big bands since before I was even a teenager, having found my mother's old
Glenn Miller, etc., records in the closet. After that, I could never
really get into rock. It just did not have enough substance. It is so
great now to be able to play that style of music in a band, fulfilling a
near life-long ambition. (Yes, it would have been cool to live back then,
but without e-mail? I don't think I could stand it!)
