Gary,

Thanks for the info on alto clarinets. I called around and you're right,
there seem to be very few in stock. No one has the Buffet; but I did read
about it and wondered if the simple register key would work.

Weiner Music does have two of those older Buffets left, but, isn't anxious
to unload, as he wanted $5000.00. Right now there is someone on E-Bay
selling an older Buffet but I want approval rights. I ran across two used
Noblets, which might seem inadequate but years ago I played one and liked
it. I also found a Selmer (new) and am going to test it.

Yes I suppose I'm crazy.
