As one living just down the interstate from you, I would not even dare
take my wood clarinet for a climactic trip like that. Can you get a
servicable plastic for the outdoor events? Are you playing concert music
that needs good tone?

You flatlanders have no idea how drastic a weather/humidity change
Michael is facing. The airplane situation is minor compared to the
dry-damp contrasts his poor horn would face.

Keith - are you around to give an experienced opinion on this?
