Neil, I'm certainly in agreement, and he's got 2 Weber recordings: the one
with the Quintet is XLNT MUSIC 18004. It also has the Grand Duo
Concertant. This is Volume 1 of the Complete Clarinet Music with Samuel
Sanders and the Manhattan String Quartet. Volume 2 contains Concertino Op.
26, Concerto #1 and Concerto #2 - with Lukas Foss and the Brooklyn
Philharmonic. Had the pleasure of hearing Jon live last spring playing
principal with the New York Chamber Symphony. He's also principal with the
American Ballet Theater Orchestra. Great, beautiful, warm, lush tone. I'd
go to hear him any day!!

Go ahead, buy the recording! He's also got a Mozart Quintet recording I
haven't heard yet.
