Benjamin,

Glad your bass clarinet experience was good.

Two things demonstrated:
1. value of preparation--you had the responsibilty to get as much
information as you could.
2. how **blooming** important the reed and mouthpiece are.

One of the bass clarinet list members described a t-shirt he had made:
Front: Many people play the clarinet.
Back: Only the best play bass clarinet.
