Interesting. I use the same brand and strength on my Eb soprano as I do on
my Bb soprano since the smaller reed seems to act as if it were stiffer.

I too have found that I really enjoy playing the Eb soprano. On a good day
it has a clear, sweet sound (although boy does it carry).
