Yo-Yo Ma played the Elgar Concerto with us (Richmond Symphony) in the
early '80's. At the same time, in a local club, there was a band of some
kind called Yo' Mama, so the posters for both events coexisted side by
side.

That week, a breathless blue-hair symphony patron called our box office,
where my wife was working at the time. She said "turn on your TV!!!"
(like they had one, and nothing else to do!) "That soloist you're having
this week is on TV - Ma Ma Yo"! True story!
