In response to question asking for high register
books:
The best recommendation I have ever received
(other than keep practicing all scales and thirds in that
register) was from Floyd Williams who suggested I practice
simple tunes by ear such as "Ode to Joy" or "Greensleeves"
first in the lower register then in the very high register. It really
helped me hear the intonation of the third register!
Try Tom Ridenour's "Clarinet Fingerings" (incredible resource
for looking up fingerings) or Allen Sigel's "The Twentieth
Century Clarinetist" for exercises on specific notes.
Hope this helps! Lori
