Dear Listers,
If any of you have LP or CD record collections you would consider loaning out "in trust" to a possible Internet broadcast startup, would you please contact me privately? The possible startup (me) was hoping to use the LP/CD collection of the defunct Detroit classical radio station WQRS - the collection was supposed to be held intact for the next classical music station in Detroit - but in the words of Dr. Dave Wagner, former voice of WQRS: "Promises were made, promises were broken. ... The collection was partly sold off, partly given away, and the rest looted." 30K LPs and 17K CDs were in that collection ...

I have a small collection (about 500 LPs and CDs, many given to my son by Interlochen Public Radio) - but that won't hold out too long should this venture become a reality.
