Ken brings up a contentious point. I will not buy a DG recording by Von Karajan
because I will not support the legacy of a man who was a Nazi collaborator. May he
always be conducting an all Jewish orchestra in the hereafter, an orchestra that
will not follow his baton and spits in his face at the conclusion of every
performance. If I need to tell myself a second reason for not buying nor listening
to any of his orchestral interpretations, it would be because I find him a bore.
