Jim O'Briant, Patricia Smith, Walter Grabner and James Sclater all have
suggested "Mannin Veen" by Haydn Wood is the Manx piece I'm looking for
and I want to thank you for your gracious input. With this new info I
can redirect my search. For some atavistic reason this piece has haunted
my anglo-saxon bones for a half century and I want to hear it again before
I check in the Ultimate Clarinet Choir in the sky where perfect reeds
abound. (I couldn't resist a bit of Gaelic sentimentality)
