This year we got a letter from Esentially Ellington
who said that if we sent them a postcard they would
send us 6 free Ellington charts. We didn't especially
like the arrangements so we used them for sight
reading. One of them was The Mooche, which had only 3
clarinet parts, and no sax parts. Me and the other
tenor whipped out our clarinets and left the alto to
try to transpose :) and that was the neatest piece we
have played that year.
