Dear Tristan
It depends on what you are exactly looking for. I can recommend you
Theo Loevendie: Incantations, published by Donemus, Amsterdam
Raxach: Chimaera, same publisher
Kees Vlak: Basklarinetconcert, Molenaar ed. Wormerveer
Jan Hadermans: Spotlights on the bass clarinet, De Haske, Heerenveen
All publishers are in the Netherlands. The Loevendie piece is with a
Symphony Orchestra, Raxach is with tape, the Vlak and Hadermans pieces are
with wind orchestra and are considerably easier to play than the other two:
even I could master them. Loevendie and Raxach are very difficult, and
absolutely not playable for amateurs, as they have been written for Harry
Sparnaay, one of the greatest and technically able bass clarinet players I
know. If you want more you could write him:
Harry Sparnaay
p/a Hogeschool voor de kunsten afd. muziek
Mariaplaats
Utrecht
The Netherlands
As to piano reductions: as far as I know only the Hadermans piece exists in
both forms
Hope this may be of any help. Good luck with your audition
Rien
