I'm sorry, I don't have permission from the inventor. I would love to just tell
you, but Georg is trying to earn something with these discoveries and I promised
I wouldn't tell what I know (which isn't all that much!) However, if you are
interested. Send a barrel to:

Georg Ignatius
Paradiesbuck 12
79429 Malsburg-Marzell
Germany

Tel. and Fax: +49 7626 971054
e-mail: RESPA_Spektralabstimmungen@-----.de

Georg will "carve it up" for you - for a small fee. He only needs to know the
total length of the wind column (tip of mouthpiece to end of bell). This way, you
could compare the same barrel with and without the tuning. It is possible to do
the other pieces of the clarinet too but the barrel is a good start.

If you are ever in the area, you (or anybody else for that matter - Tony Pay
missed his chance when he was near here) have a standing invitation to try my
instruments. I have barrels and bells both with and without the treatment. That's
a pretty reliable test. Sorry I can't do more for you. I'm so far away....

David
