The latest batch was Rigotti cane, gotten from Rigotti in France by one
of our students, who was there on a semester exchange.

I have gotten Rigotti from Albert Alphin (IIRC?) - be prepared for a long
phone call while he tries to sell you what *he* thinks you should use,
and "what the guys in the BSO are playing" - amusing if somewhat
expensive (the phone call)

I also had some Prestini from Europe, brought by a friend. I got another
batch from Arizona, and it was fine. Then I got another batch from
Arizona, and it was awful. I wouldn't go through that again.

I'm open to the suggestions of others for sources of good cane.

David

p.s. I'd **LOVE** to get some Zonda or Vandoren tubes!
