In California, there are no such requirements on the number of octaves to
play. It is suggested to play your scales at least 2 octaves (3 on the ones
you can: like E, F, F#, or G).

Once again, no such luck in California. SCSBOA honor group auditions are
quite definitely *not* blind. I wish they were as I think it would be a
much more fair audition.
